I had the camoplast 1.5 Intense track on my 06 attak. I put over 5000 trouble free miles on the track. It was on the sled when I traded it in on my 12 apex se.
145 miles on a tank on my 06 attack. 107 on a tank on my 11 apex se. Some times that's is not enough gas. Right now I carry extra gas on the back of my wifes 12oo renegade.
Yes, It is the only complaint on a nearly flawless sled. Being the first guy in the group to run out of gas or having to modify your riding style to make it to the next stop can't be what Yamaha intended in the this trail sled.
I ride with these http://www.answerracing.com/products/pr ... alpha-knee
It may be overkill but I think it will help in the event of a crash better than something stuck on the sled.

I have a 12 apex se and my wife has a 09 1200 renegade. I totally agree with what both people said but a have seen 115 on the 1200's speedometer. It records the top speed.

I put a 1.5" intense track on my 06 attak. It was better in loose snow but not as good on hard packed snow. I did put about 6000 trouble free miles on the track before I sold the sled.

My wife has a ski doo 1200 renegade. It would beat my 06 attak with 7000 miles on it and never looked at the clutches once. It does not beat my 11 apex se at any point.
