Wow that thing is wicked clean!! I had a mid shield on my 07 nytro and needed the handguards. Not sure if you will have contact issues with the newer style shield ... I had the older chassis.
I added the fix wheel kit (x2) to my nytro and they are still in excellent shape after over 7000 kms (the second owner still hasn't had to replace them yet).
These things are simply amazing in my opinion. Track straight, light to steer (depsite their beefy design) and they bite very well on the trails. Never had any problems loading on the trailer nor crosing roads or on pavement. Well worth the money or buying new skis.
I had the freestyle tekvest ... maybe another model would fit better. I've seen the Bwear vests. They look very similar to the tekvests. Thanks for the input guys.
Would an MX style chest protector (like the Fox Airframe) provide adequate protection for sledding? I've tried a tekvest but found it too bulky and uncomfortable. Looking for something lighter but with decent protection.
I had the semi aggressive snowtrackers on my 07 nytro and they were by far the best upgrade that I put on the sled. No darting and razor sharp cornering. You will not be disappointed if you buy them!
Pick up some seafoam and run it through the fuel system on your first tank of fuel. I don't clean carbs anymore after finding this stuff ... mind you I also drain the carbs during summer storage.
