CO only controls idle to 1/8 or 1/4 throttle from my research. Mine is set at -15 CO, the gauge goes beyond -100 (I'm not sure the max?). When its warmer outside (-2 Celsius today) I find it tends to idle a bit lower around 1300 if I let it sit idling for a few minutes. When its colder it...
My cold start stumble is still there, however, my idle once warm throughout the duration of my ride is now staying at 1500 ever since I set CO to -10. Last night I let it idle for about 5 min and blipped the throttle the entire time and each time it came back and settled steady at 1500. I do...
Went for a 50km ride, played with the Co settings entire time. If I put all cylinders at +10 idle got worse and constantly idled around 1000 rpm. At zero idled 50% good, 50% 1000 rpm. When I put all cylinders down to -5 idled better but still going down to 1000 RPM. When I put it at -10...
Count me in, exact same problem to a tee. Also have developed a cold start stumble, starts and idles good for 10 seconds, then rough and low for 15 seconds, then recovers and runs fine. Hoping the two issues are linked. Other than that sled runs great.
When start bone cold runs good for 10 seconds, then idles low for 15 seconds, then recovers on its own and runs fine.
Is this normal?? Spoke to another guy who said his does this too.
Would this be the CR10EK plugs?? Would increase/decrease in CO settings change this??
Thanks
Where is the line for the atmos sensor?? I have a cold start stumble when I pull the sled out of the garage from a ride the night before. Starts good for about 10 seconds, then goes into a low rough idle for 10 seconds, then recovers and runs fine. Wondering if I have moisture in the line?? No...
Have Pilots, work good, push a bit in corners.
Have opportunity to do even swap with brand new Tuners with 6" & 4" carbides.
Has anyone gone from Pilots to Tuners? If so, which were better?
Here's what I'm finding lately. If its colder than -10 Celsius, its idles near perfect all day, unless I come to a stop and let it idle for more than say 2 min, then it drops to 1000 RPM. If its less than -5 Celsius it idles low all day long, still starts and runs fine, just idles crappy...
Thanks for the reply. I have 3-4ft incline, do you still think it would be easy to push in the compacted snow? Do you think the rear swivel wheel may get caught up? $300 is a bit much to take chance, so want to make sure.

Looking for reviews on this jack with the swivel wheel and pneumatic tire upgrade
Need to move sled from road to garage, up 4ft incline on driveway and often have ice or compact snow building up on driveway
I have the same issue. My driveway is exposed agregate. When there is compact snow on the driveway the dolly wheels jam and won't turn. I also have about a 4ft incline over 50ft. I've tried everything other than ez move or horseshoe. I even built a drive on dolly with 10" pneumatic tires at the...
Just went through this exact scenario. Drop the rear bolts on the rear skid and lower - I have a sled lift so easy. Once skid lowered noticed my left y-pipe had a crack near the mount. Had to drill out the rivets for the y-pipe hanger as I could not separate the y-pipes and muffler. Then had...
I've searched but can't seem to find the exhaust assembly sequence for '06 Apex GT. My y-pipe was cracked and muffler needed a weld at a joint. I'm putting everything back together and just wondering if the following is correct:
(1) Install y-pipes and bolt onto hangar loosely
(2) Install...
I tried a vac tester from Cdn Tire and the ID for the hose that attaches to the throttle body was a bit too big. I zip tied it but still couldn't get it tight enough cause when I turned on the sled the gauge would just bounces all over. I couldn't find a hose with a small enough ID to fit the 4...
Exactly same as mine. Can turn the black idle adjust knob and nothing happens unless I turn it 2 or 3 turns but he hot idle will still go down. I've spent hours reading over the past year, only thing I haven't ruled out that has been mentioned is a valve adjustment. My sled has 11000km.
.
I agree, could easily be into $1000 and not even solve the issue. I've tried putting the CO to +5 and it didn't do anything. I might try -5 as suggested above.
