I have an M10 in my apex … With all this Cat/ Yamaha non japan built stuff Ill Never sell my Apex! Yes, I own a viper and it rides great but all the cat DNA under the hood and in driveline ect is driving me nuts.
big venom kit is well worth the money for the performance corner to corner, plus you will not be left out in the cold on set-up as the guys there will set the weights up for your ride by asking you a few questions. And the after the sale advice and support is awesome.
My thanks to Terry also on some clutching as he helped me on my restoration vmax4. I have there kits on both my Apex and Viper and love it! I will likely be chatting more!
Is the clutching stock? A Apex is know for nice throttle response anyway so it could be a few things, Dirty, sticky clutch or your belt side clearance in the primary is too big? Belt could be getting worn and narrow causing something like this too.
Yep... You can go back to our wonderful president Clinton for drawing up and singing the NAFTA agreement, Gave every corporation a green light to head over seas and produce sh(%#+T with no regulations … still buying it today! all they've done is turn china into a environmental wasteland and made...
Yes, very good guys! Have there clutching in my viper and did some fine tuning with phone calls as well as in person and was a pleasure. Also talked some vintage vmax4 stuff that was very helpful also.. we went on and on , loved there passion for the sport and service.... its what is missing in...
on a stand … let the clutches shift out some but giving it some fare amount of throttle, then let tings settle to a natural stop with no brakes applied as this will give ya a good indication of belt ride height.
I bought a 2016 LTX-LE and really love the ride for sure. QS3s and 137 work perfect for this aging 45+ yrs in the saddle riding vet! But then again my vintage Vmax4 feels great on the trails like in the pic to the left..... NO really, I love my viper for the ride.
