Start on one sled then to the next then need oil to change oil. Only use Amsoil. Waiting on a oil filter. Life gets busy...ect ect.
Now to figure where that wire goes.
Wonder if that goes to ecu then ecu cuts the ground so it won't crank. I cranked others with no oil in them but did not sit so...
Worked on it more tonight. Found out the ground wire (black) does not have any continuity to ground. Used a jumper wire from the key switch to ground and it cranks now. Any ideas?
Tried the ignition on other sled. It started cranking. If you pull the kill switch up the fuel pump comes on so that means it should work if I correct.
In middle of service. Found out it fuel pump runs as normal when turn key but nothing else. Does not crank.
Parts swapped from good running sled.
Starter relay
Battery
40 amp fuse
Ground at block was cleaned and checked
Nothing changes.
Had no problems before the service.
UPDATE !!!!! I can't believe the answer I heard. Not sure why it happened. Also it was never updated for some reason.
Answer is they never added the breakdown to the seal like the newer Apex or older rx1....lol I was told to use the 05 rx1 lookup
Going to make a call and see if port knows what the deal is. I don't want to down sled yet unless I know what is going on. From what it shows you have to buy the whole shaft. Just baffles me no one really changed this or did not report back after doing so..lol. not like the 2 stroke stuff. This...
You know how that goes. I think the newer seals are bigger. Just looked at both diagrams. Still don't understand why they did that design to begin with.
