I was on hard pack on Lake Gogebic in Michigan. I went both ways and did get 4 more out of it one way compared to the other. I was just expecting much more than 112. It still is fast though.
I have been reading a lot of posts that people are seeing 120+ on their Attaks. I couldn't get more than 112 out of the dream meter this weekend. Any thoughts to why mine seems much slower than others are reporting? Everything is stock.
I used this Ski Doo part on my Attak you can see in the picture where I mounted it. I have only been able to put 75 miles on my sled and have had no problems. http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php? ... highlight=
I asked that question when I saw the bulletin. He didn't have an answer and was going to ask the service manager. When I pickup my sled tomorrow if I can get the answer and I post what I find out.
ThI had the dealer give me a print out of what it said. This is word forword and all he said is they wouldreplace them.

I just got a call from the dealer that is is done So when...
I brought my Attak in for the handle bar replacement and they had two service bulletins. One was to replace the idler wheels which I have heard of on this forum. The other one was a altitude compensation bulletin that they said wasn't needed unless I went to the mountains. Is this something that...
I started my sled up today for the first time and let it warm up for a good five minutes. When I cracked the throttle hard the motor either hesitates or backfires. Am I not letting it warm up enough or is this something I should have th dealer check out. I will be embarassed if this happens when...
After reding your post I went and bought the Skidoo visor plug and installed it yesterday. It made me nervous to drill the hole but after it was done it works and looks great. I wired it into thr 12V DC plug. Since this circuit is only a three volt circuit it may overload if something was...
From the posts that I have read and from doing searches when measuring the spring with no load, track off the ground all the post mention spring length at 10 3/8". I was trying to do this adjustment yesterday to get ready for winter and the spring that I have on the used Attak that I bought is...
Thanks for the advice everyone. By the way Apex-GT I have been going to the gym 5 days a week for the last 4 months and have lost 30 pounds. Then I will have to get all new Yamaha clothing instead of me wearing my old Ski-Doo gear! :exc:
From reading this forum I believe I will need to get the heavier spring for the 06 Attak that I bought last month. My question is that I haven't done any work on snowmobiles, is this something I should bring to a dealer or could I tackle it myself? I wan't to start doing my own upgrades and...
I just bought a new Attak and have been reading this forum. I see a couple of thing that I will most likely need to upgrade. One would be an upgrade to the skis or a modification to them, or get a new spring for.the suspension. I weigh about 300 pounds and from what I have read I will need a new...
