I have been reading a lot of posts that people are seeing 120+ on their Attaks. I couldn't get more than 112 out of the dream meter this weekend. Any thoughts to why mine seems much slower than others are reporting? Everything is stock.

120 on the speedo is easy if your running perfectly flat very hard pack snow with no headwind . Any loose snow on the surface or a headwind will knock you down huge.

I was on hard pack on Lake Gogebic in Michigan. I went both ways and did get 4 more out of it one way compared to the other. I was just expecting much more than 112. It still is fast though.

TBNSR I did 124 on the same lake from the hoop to the lodge and the lodge to the trail entrance by the state park. How many miles does your sled have? Was it still compact or did you have fresh snow? Lots of factors play into it. My mph was Dreamometer time as well.

Somethings up, I saw 122 on the dream meter on my Rage today down a hardpack road with a 1.5 paddle track before I had to back off. What shape is your drive belt in?

I was on gogebic this week, 113 was all I could get out of my stock 07 attak,500 miles, and Simmons skis! I suspect the 4 runners don't help! Jay

don't worry most of the time that is all i see is 112mph on my dream meter and i'm in front of an apex, two attacks and f1000. i can hold off the new mach z's for 2000ft. put it on a road and you will see 123mph.

There are a ton of factors that come into play in getting top speed. Keep in mind that a lot of the really high speeds you see posted are on plowed ice tracks. If you are running on snow, it makes a big difference.
I saw 118 on my attak gt speedo this weekend out on the lake and was pulling away quickly from all the 800's that were running.

I have mine clutched for hard acceleration, not top speed, so I was quite happy to see 118 on the speedo. I do mostly trail riding, so I am not too worried about going 120mph.
I am coming off a good running 05 mach Z and have approx. 450 miles on my attak gt now and this is the best sled I have ever owned!

rode 1080 miles in the U.P.

Highest speed i saw was 111 on the dreammeter Which ive been told is good on snow...

it takes perfect conditons or ice to go faster
