I think most people change their slides prematurely...first few hundred miles they wear VERY quick. I even smell mine melting when i have brand new slides on but after a few hundred miles they harden up and last a long time.
For me, I notice my slides wear very fast until there is about an...
Sled just has the stock 3 wheels. Everything on the skid/suspension is stock. And it was properly tightened. If anything maybe it was over tightened? Everyone has overtightened a small bolt and snapped it off before...but I doubt the axel could be overtightened to the point where it snaps. If...
Naw not too bad. I've riden trails much rougher. And i've broken skid rails, shocks, pivot arms but never an axel. I think something has got to be defective. Its just too much steel to break from riding...
Snapped the rear axel on my 08' Nytro this weekend. it snapped clean in two. Nothing bent at all. Just wondering how its possible to do this and if anyone else has had the same problem?
Loosen your limiter straps to take the weight off the front end and your sled will turn easier. Just don't loosen to much or your ski's will be off the ground so much it won't matter what brand they are!
It all depends on riding style - but I think the small tank is a JOKE!
Rode UP powder this weekend and had the fuel light come on at 65 miles. any one else see extremely bad fuel economy like this? The light normally comes on around 80 miles for me. Im always the first one looking for gas...
yami belt - had about 3200 hard miles on it on my 08' RTX and changed the belt b/c of performance.
i got almost 4000 miles on the first belt of my 06' nytro also, then started blowing belts because my clutch was F#$%ed up. Speaking for myself - i've always had good luck with yami belts.
where do you get glass packs for these things? the only exhaust stuff i can find if from excell.
also how exactly did you gut the pipe originally? at a quick glance, it doesn't look like the exhaust can dissembles...
Hey has anyone gutted the exhaust on a Nytro? How did you do it and how did it turn out? i gutted the exhaust on my 01` WR 426 and it made a huge difference with both power and sound. i'm wondering if it is possible to get this same effect on a snowmobile. i would rather not purchase an...
the track is supposed to make noise on a stand because its NOT meant to be driven on the stand. If your track is ratcheting in deep snow you will know when it does (hit throttle and hear loud ratchet = track to loose), but other than that it will not ratchet on hard pack on or a stand. check you...
IMO the suspension is way to soft, i have it set as stiff as possible and I still bottom it alot. but in your case, you may want to try changing the torsion spring setting. There is a plastic triangle shaped nut located on the top of the suspension (one on each side) that has three settings (S...
