    Engine is bullet proof

We sunk a rx-1 once. Tip it on end to drain the exhaust, pull the plugs, change the oil and away you go. Sounded like hell when we first fired it up but its still livin to this day. It was an excellent sled for waterskipping but we never tried anything like this guy, nutso.

    2012?

Some yammi tech said once that the phazer motor barely passed yamahas strict standards in the vibration and harmonics department. maybe there is no future in that 500cc twin. True story? Who knows but thats what this thread is all about isnt it.

Looking for a loud pipe for a Nytro

I agree, if loud pipes are risking your access dont run em. BUT dont jump on every guy on here who wants to run a loud exhaust, There isnt a trail system or snowmobile club within a couple hundred miles of me. Wouldnt want to ride a trail anyway. :bore:

Looking for a loud pipe for a Nytro

Sounds like alot if inconsistency with the MBRP pipe. Mine was fairly loud when new and got louder after a season on it. At WOT its as loud as any MBRP(race version) canned two stroke.

nytro idling at 2300 rpm! not good! Why

This happened to mine once. Cold day, everything was iced up. Thawed it out in the shop and it was all good. Not much help i know. It would be sweet if that fixed everything that goes wrong with it.

    Silencers? Which one to buy.

I have the MBRP as well, I wouldnt say it gave the sled a hesitation but the throttle response is definetly worse. Im gonna mess with the CO levels to try and cure it. Sounds good, probably too loud for you trail riders though.
