I've used the Honda pins on my Duramax....they work well.....the cheap Chinese knock offs, not so much. They get all busted up on removal, so pack spares if you go cheap....

I made longer pins from stainless bar stock, drilled a hole for the bolt to go thru....

...........and a third one wouldn't hurt either......

I waited approx 6 weeks.....supplied my own stainless fasteners....

It's that easy.....

Just finishing an EPS install on my 22 SRX.....looks to be plug & play......all the holes are there......the wiring harness is there.....nothing needs to be relocated. If you are contemplating doing a 22 or newer, have a look, right side holes have plastic plugs in them....wire harness is tied...

I did just this on my 2017, found a rusty pin when I replaced the factory rollers .......with very few miles on it. Made new stainless pins long enough to run the bolts thru the pins.....

Carefully......weld a nut to it....

Just run a garden hose on the side of the pail, they float out like magic, with no effort.....you'll wonder how it could be so hard to separate them dry....

Red arrow is the adjuster......yellow arrow is the other end of the spring, which is coiled up behind that big idler wheel

Yamaha medium windshield is about 4" above caddy......a medium sport would be about flush with top of caddy.....

I put one on my 22 SRX, medium windshield is an just inch or 2 taller. Fits OK, a bit tedious getting the fasteners installed.... Will try to get pics tomorrow.

There are more instructions to make it work, nothing too hard to do, but it won't just bolt in as is....
