Those were test results posted on BITOG......also reported the XP only 50% efficient at 20 microns I believe. They give up efficiency to be able to make the 20,000 mile claim I guess...
The standard Wix filter will catch 99% @ 23 microns, while the XP filters 99% @35 microns....the "XP" means extended performance.....not better performance. Unless you're running 15,000 miles on an oil/filter change....it's not an filter I would use....
I've used the Honda pins on my Duramax....they work well.....the cheap Chinese knock offs, not so much. They get all busted up on removal, so pack spares if you go cheap....
Just finishing an EPS install on my 22 SRX.....looks to be plug & play......all the holes are there......the wiring harness is there.....nothing needs to be relocated. If you are contemplating doing a 22 or newer, have a look, right side holes have plastic plugs in them....wire harness is tied...
I did just this on my 2017, found a rusty pin when I replaced the factory rollers .......with very few miles on it. Made new stainless pins long enough to run the bolts thru the pins.....
