Thinking MCXpress 290. Already field tested and in the long run about 4-5k cheaper.
My 2011 XTX worth $5,000 to $5,500 plus the 290 kit around $6,400. Best case total cost $11,800. When the sidewinder all said and done with tax etc.. About $16,000.
My Apex is bought and paid for.
Sorry I wasn’t much help. At 48 years old I just want to ride and enjoy my sled. As stated I am not much for setting up of the sled. With that being said I think EzRyde have a good name and reputation with snowmobile suspensions. This year was a bad year for riding. I normally do 1000 miles more...
I am quite sure if anyone is missing something it is me. I am a person that rides, I am not good at setting a sled at all. I just talked about the bottoming out because I have stock springs on the hard settings. A lot of “bigger” riders have asked me before if this will replace the need for...
I have a 2011 Yamaha XTX all stock with the exception of clutching with the HELO installed and my overall all impressions are great.
About me, I’m 6’1” and weigh 300 lbs and I am an aggressive rider. I typically ride about 100 miles each time I am out in all conditions. (this year I only did...
Not sure what I'm going to do, money is the issue right now. I talked with Ulmer and I think for me the 200 hp kit is the way to go. I'll keep you all posted.
I called MCXpress and with the dollar being what it is you can buy the 290 kit for under $5,200.00 us. The 200 HP kit is around $4,400.00. I like the head shim only because its easer on the motor. I might do it, or not. I had a supercharged nytro and I was always messing with it. I swore never...
I am thinking the APEX run is over to a degree. My 2011 XTX is most likely worth $5,500. It’s mint however I am a realistic in what it value is.
However add a MCX turbo to this would be more than an equalizer on the trail/lake. I’m thinking a 290 kit detuned to around 240. And turn it up as...
Just my .02 from having a supercharged Nytro. Don’t do it. It’s fun at first then it a pain with issues. “Kinger” said it best, head shim it and do it right once if you’re going to.
If you want to do this, bring it to Ulmer and have it professionally done. The learning curve if you do ONE thing...
