Just bought it yesterday used. Already has extroverts but every third window is clipped. should I add the extra clips?

When running extrovert drivers do you need a fully clipped track or is it o.k. to have every third clipped.

Got mine back on friday. Put 130 miles on in Sat. Everything was covered under warrenty. New starter relay, stator, and main wire harness. Also got a new subframe. Didnt cost me a penny. The sled has never been better. Big thank you to Bob at Rock River Powersports.

Its still there as of Tues. But my dealer said nothing to me about it being on back order. Its been there for two weeks already so I hope its not too much longer. I'll call him tomarrow and post the results once I hear from him.

Spy Blizzards. In my opinion they are the best, Ive had Scotts and Smiths and liked the Spy's the most.

My 08 RTX is at the dealer getting a new subframe under warrenty. Does anyone know do they replace it with a 09 subframe or a reinforced 08? Also what are the differences between the 08 and the replacement?

I agree, struggled with mine all last season. First thing I did this year was checked the skis, toed in 1.5". Put 1/2" toe out and what a difference that made.

Should have my sled back next week. Took it to Rock River Powersports and they have been more than helpfull. The electrical issues are fixed. New main wiring harness and starter relay. Also getting new lower ball joints and a new subframe, all covered by Yamaha.

The dealer is checking with Yamaha on mine. He said the right side is 10mm back, visually it is noticeable but I havent noticed any change in handleing. So I didnt vote yet.

Mines at the dealer now with that problem. Mine wont clear 43. It will start but runs choppy. The dealer called me today and he is still troubleshooting the problem but I will post what he comes up with for a fix when its done.

Mines at the dealer right now with codes 46 43 and 12, will start but runs choppy and doesnt want to hold an idle. They are also looking at my subframe and a arms, and lower ball joints. Let us know what your dealer says about 46.

Wondering if any one knows of a good Yamaha dealer in southern Wi.? Im getting the run around with my current dealer and I have some issues with the Nytro RTX I purchased from him last winter. He doesnt seem to be willing to work with me.

Thanks for the info guys. I called and my dealer told me my warrenty expired on the 13th of dec. He kind of gave me the run around saying Yamaha wont cover the sub frame under warrenty, without even looking at it. The two other times my sled was throwing codes he just cleared them and told me...

Whats the total cost of this upgrade? Because I think my stock 08 sub is slighty tweaked.

After reading about the subframe issues I went to the garage to look at my 08 RTX, left ski looks to be pushed back 1.5" and the left spindle is at a way steeper angle than the right. I have not hit anything that I've noticed. But the sled is handling just fine. Whats the deal with the...
