Looking at moving to either a Backcountry 1.75 or Challenger 2. I have removed the tunnel protectors on top and front to prep for the change. I am leaning to the Challenger 2 since I tend to go off-trail more. Any input appreciated on trail and off-trail performance of each. Thanks all!! ;)!

Agree with rik. I set my Xfer rod to one up from Min and noticed a huge difference in lift from previous "Mid" position.

I have a 2008 Vector (DB2). Very easy to remove the lower side panel to drain the tank. Use a #3 phillips so not to wreck the cheap aluminum screws. The engine drain and filter a pretty self explanitory. Have fun!

Also, try a set a of handgaurds. Add them to my LTX and noticed a difference. Much "cooler" than gauntlets too. ;)!

The bags you linked are the ones I was looking at. I am leaning toward the new ones right now. So, if I understand you correctly, the reccomendation is to mount the rear straps in a V on the extended tunnel flat with an extra set of cams? Let me know if you have the trunk bags and cams in...

I think it is. If so, it is around $80 US where the blue bag is around $100. I wish they would put dimensions on these!! Thanks for the pictures. Really helps alot!

Just got my son the Hero Cam. Takes great video, but goes through batteries fast. Only uses 2 AAA batteries and the cold kills them quick. If you get the Hero, get rechargables.

Did it on my Vector and noticed it was easier to get the right sag. Can't wait to try it on the snow!

Not sure about the 05, but my 08 Vec LTX has tunnel protectors, however, not enought to protect the rear heat exchanger. A couple hard bottoms last seasons resulted in scars on the fins from 1.375 studs. My simple solution was to rivet a couple pieces of hyfax on top of the aluminum protectors...

I use the CTEK 3300 charger right to the jumper leads. Works great, no problems, good little charger. I use it for all my toys.
