I did change that. Its called the Cam Position Sensor ($200). Still have Code 11. Following the plug into the wiring harness there are 2 grounding blocks. One has 6 Blue wires and am getting 300-400 Ohms. The other with 6 Black/Blue wires I get 0 Ohms. Checking all the other grounding blocks I...
So I have been fighting with an intermittent Code 11. It will run fine and start no problem. Sometimes Code 11 will pop up while it's running. I head home. Turn it off and says Code 11 and won't start. Went through the manual. Check load test on battery, starter solenoid, tested all 4 relays and...
Here are a couple pictures from the other side. The split collar is pulled back in the inner race about 1/8". I have had this sled for 10 years and never touched this aside from tr-packingthe bearing grease. Should I try to loosen the nut and reset the split collar then tighten or leave it? The...
So I noticed my jack shaft lock nut has some exposed threads. It looks like its not tight but it is. I can move it slightly by hitting it with a screwdriver and hammer so its not seized. There was no issues with noise or vibration and no movement in the shaft side to side. Noticed it checking my...
Block Heater Location on an Apex
I got a block heater for my Apex. What is the proper location to put it? Can it go on the hose next to the oil tank?
Thanks in advance.

2007 Kodiak 350 IRS 8,200km

Any help?
Thanks
Ended up being the speedo cable. Problem solved, only $6.25 for the cable.

I'll also see how hot the fuel is next time it happens.
Thanks

We have 2 of these. A couple times doing some trail riding not too hard or fast. The wife came to a hill maybe 45 degree X 100' long and couldn make it up. The motor would sputter like it does in reverse (limiter). Was warm as the fan was running but the bike shouldn't be that hot. The same thig...
Problem solved.
Removed the primary clutches and cleaned them. Replaced the worn cam that was worn.
They both run like a charm now and upshift properly.
Looks like the clutches should be checked and cleaned about very 1,000km.
Oh ya, the price if the worn cam was $16 CAD. Pretty...
