blown fuse

I have just bought a used 2011 Venture lite with a mere 1000 k’s on it and my accessory fuse has blown (owner’s ignorance, turns out you should put the cap on it in a snow storm). I have located the tiny fuse box beside the battery. Nestled to the fuse box is another 3 x 1 case labelled gear...

I'm just curious if anyone has come across or heard of this scenario before? My reverse did not work for a few hundred miles at the end of last season. The sled had no issues starting whatsoever. The last ride of the season the sled overheated causing it to throw codes and shut down...
