What needs to be done to the 03 to beat the X


Leave out ECP kit thats a must nomatter and ripsaw is done but may need more studs i have 96 know i believe,Just got MPI exhaust,and will be hopefully will be able to have shead 30lbs from sled and 30 from my fat a$$ LOL Please help i need to beat my bud in a straight line like lake or packed trail. I alos am debating ExpertX or M-10 I am leaning towards expert but dunno :ORC

You have 2 choices.
Nitrous or pressurized induction.
If you don't add either one of the above, you don't stand a chance.

Put the super charger or turbo on it and no one will touch you for years man years. lol

Through a nitrous kit on that baby and toss the ripsaw. The ripsaw provides unbelieveable acceleration but if top end is what you are looking for, the ripsaw is not your best choice. If you get a nitrous kit you can leave the ripsaw because it wont matter, you will beat him no matter.

Super Charger is the only choice outta the 3 but right now $5000.00 into the 03 dont seem right would buy 06 and then S/C that 8)

You can try sabotaging the competition... that usually works well to win a race. Adjust the throttle cable so it won't quite open full.

There are choices, but they are all pretty serious;
Cams,
big bore,
thinner gasket and expensive fuel,
might require some combination of the above.


As for the suspension, if you need speed, there is no question that you should aim for the expertx. M10 makes you slow.
