'03 to '05 were fine, its '06 to '09 that are the culprits!...NO HEAT or BARELY, you just get a trikling bit of heat and end up freezing the tip of your fingers working itself up to your hands. My '05 RX1 had tons of HEAT compared to my '08Deerfire said:whats "rocks hot hands" and how well do they work??

unless you are riding at -40c they are fine. at that temp, wear gauntlets. damn near froze my havs last winter but it was still a good ride!

I have done everything and anything to help with cooling. If I had to do it all over again, I would go with the radiator if that worked.

Two easy and cheap things that can be done to help cooling when running a long track;
1) replace cross tube with 1" COPPER PIPE.
2) On the back of the muffler bracket is the flap that exists for holding the flap onto a shorty, this flap obstructs snow from hitting the cross tube. Cut that thing up to let the snow fly through it and hit the cross tube.
