I finally replaced shocks/ springs in my RX-1.
The ride is soo much better, it handles the woops and bumps with no problem.
But
The front end is heavy and transfer rods are barely moving.
I am having trouble with Dialing it in. I have made so many adjustments and I've made it worse.
Can you help me with a "Base setting" I should be starting from?
Front preload?
Limit strap?
Center shock preload?
Rear shock preload?

Well to start you need to add a set 130-140# straight rate springs to the front shocks. Set those at zero preload. Have just enough pressure on the springs so they do NOT fall out. You need to get a heavier sway bar. 12mm is good all around, 13mm is fantastic for flat conering. As far a s your limiter starp in the rear, I would set that at stock, meaning you will see about an inch of the bolt stick up. If its still heavy in the front, lighten the L. strap a little at a time, like a turn or so. Also I would try to run those rear shocks with as little spring preload as possible. Try that and see what happens. Lazy Bastard wrote up a good suggestion a couple of years ago for a stock no action skid so maybe he will chime in and help you with those shocks you have now.
Make sure your transfer rods are not siezed, broken, or binding.
Good luck and do a search...lots of good stuff here for your suspension.

There's not much I can add to it thats not already in the stock suspension thread - its a few pages into the stock suspensions forum. I gave up that suspension a while ago because I wanted 144" and the cost of configuring that skid to work right at 144" would be as much as I paid for my ExpertX skid.
go to the ty forum, look for any post by me, at the bottom is a link to help you set up that older skid
