Rode last week and was looking over the sled and found my belt is about 1/8" below the sheave rim. the book says .02 in. My questions are:
Is this too much
Can you make the adjustments without pulling the sheave.
If anyone's been here what size shims do you suggest
Thanks,
Jim

A little too much.
You do not need to remove secondary but it is simpler to do so.
Thin washers.
If you go too thick you will get belt squeel on the primary.

First make sure your belt is within SPEC!!! It may be worn causing your problem!
Otherwise,
The bolts are on the back side of the secondary so you do need to remove it.
Its a 20 min job.
Remove Sidepanel
Remove Guard
Remove Belt
Remove Secondary Clutch Bolt
Remove Secondary
Pay attention to the order of the shims!!!!
Flip Secondary over
Remove 3 Small Bolts on backside
Install shims under bolt heads.
Reassembly is reverse of disassembly.
It may take a few trys to get the right Combo of spacers. I would first try with a 1/2 MM, and go from there.
