4 weeks ago my rx-1 walked away from everything we put against it. it has an arctic cat cc 136" skid, air filters with evac, and a bender clutch kit. about 3 weeks ago we tightened the track, changed the plugs, added 13 mm sway bar, and changed the ski pressure to help keep the skis on the ground in the trails. 2 weeks ago on lake gogebic i could only see 109 on the dm. my buddies 02 srx was right with me and my other buddies 98 mach z walked away from me on top end. is there a better plug to run? we just put the stock ones in it. also is it possible to adjust the pressure in the clutch to change the power band so we can give it more top end and less low end. thanks in advance matt

I just read all 9 pages of that and Im exhausted. I need a nap.... lol
Anyway I think im gunna try the CR10EK. As long as its not going to hurt anything and no one has reported that so im gunna try it. I still have old stock plugs in... Should make some sort of a difference... I hope...

You need to put the track back the way it was, wheelies means traction, ski pressure, you tack track off of the ground.

Id agree with loosening the track. The tigher the track is, the more drag it has.
A good rule of thumb is that you should have the track just tight enough so that it doesnt ratchet.

The slowdown is due to the SKI PRESSURE. Skis create HUGE DRAG and LOW SPEEDS. If you want to race, you want the skis UP and OFF THE GROUND.
