ok i know this topic has come up in the past, but I need to know what my options are. I have an 03 limited 121" track, I would like to have 144" can I purchase the kit from mountain performance? or do I have to find a 144" skid? I was looking at the cross country kit from MPI with the lowering approch angle. Then if I am able to run the MPI kit, can I run a 1.35" cobra track with 9T Extroverts? Thanks a ton

That sounds like a 4" relocation + 7.5" extensions. If you need the suspension to actually work, don't do it. Since the track doesn't follow the same angles as the suspension arms, it will tend to tighten up a LOT as the suspension compresses. It will cut you down to maybe 3" of usable travel IF you keep the track very loose.

shorter stretches work better, i.e. 136"

I suggest that if you want to go to 144", that you either get a proper 144" skid, or get a skid that is compatible with relocation/extension. The proaction is definitely NOT.

I run 121-144 extensions in my turbo rx-1. No probs what so ever & I bet I got more hp then you.

That is the kit I put into my 03 ton.

VERY nice results. Only down side is I did not go longer..

Well there is always next season

yes it is a proaction suspension. Let me as everyone this, If I was able to get ahold of a fast M-10, would that be better to relocate and stretch? If I have to i'll go 136, but I would like to go 144! Thanks for all the opinions and suggestions!

Would it be ok to go from 121-144 without relocating the monoshock skid and just using extensions?

Would it reduce my travel and screw up the ride?

Thanks this stiff is new to me.
