Decided today to go with a 144" rather than 136" , but wanted to ask, other than the 144" expert x, what else will I need?
Looking at Hartman and MPI, it is hard to tell if there is a 121" to 144" tunnel extension.
Not running any studs, so do i have to extend the tunnel protectors?
With the Expert, I supposedly will not have any ratcheting issues, but should i get anti-ratchet drivers?
I want to do this just once, while it is decent weather out in the early fall.

You DO need a 144" tunnel extension, available from BOTH Hartman AND MPI, and just about everybody else...
If you're NOT running studs, you'd be better off removing the tunnel protectors right to the front -- it'll help keep ICE out of your tunnel.
You do NOT need to change your drivers.
If you're planning on riding lots in deep snow, consider adding the DTS kit to your suspension.

Ok, what actual extension? I like the MPI with the kick up personally, but do I need one for a warrior, or a RX-1? I think they use the same anyways, but trying to clarify.
Matt tells me the DTS can be added later on, and is only about $175 down the road. I will probably order without to see how it works, as my application is rough trail / off trail.

The tunnel extension will be the same regardless (as long as it is for a 144" track). They all attach right where the exhaust exits at the rear (see pic). The only thing that would make a difference was if you did a complete extension kit like me. This includes rail extensions for existing skids. Since you are adding a different skid allready designed for the 144" track just tell them all you need is a 144" tunnel extension rather than an 144" extension kit.
