I just noticed in your other post that you wrecked the a-arms on one side. I found that a complete set of aftermarket arms were cheaper than buying the upper and lower along with all bolts for one side from my dealer. Your dealer might be different though. If the cost of the A-arms and mounting hardware is more than $400, I would get either Mountain Performance Inc. or Holz Racing Products A-arms. I have the MPI arms and they have held up for 2 1/2 seasons now.
Also check your cast alluminum steering knuckles (the spindle housing) to see if you bent it or cracked it. I bent mine enough that it cracked.
To change the arms you'll need to remove the side pannels and the front nose peice below the bumper to get at the mounting bolts and nuts. If the a-arms are bent really bad these might be bent too and require you to use a hack saw to get them out like I had to do. Make sure you also get a replacement shock for the mountain sled. They have less travel than the short track RX-1 and thus; have a shorter shock.
I have the shop parts manual on CD ROM if you need a list of the parts.
yeah i was looking at them on ebay but u never answerd my question about that year they are off of. any way if i were to get aftermarket a arms would i need defferent shocks? and yes my steering knuckle is bent but i dont believe the shock is so im not goijng to replace it.
