My buddy has a 03 RX1 and he is having problems putting the split-bearing retainer behind the secondary clutch. It is not the same for the Apex they changed the design. Does any one know how to tighten or seat the lock? I am not going to the 04 design. Does any one have specific 03 RX1 instructions or the manual for this procedure? Pictures would be great. This may be in the wrong forum?

I upgraded to the new locking collar and had all kinds of problems with it so I went back to the old style. I found a piece of steel tube that was slightly bigger than the jackshaft and used that to gently tap the tapered collar into the bearing. I looked for instructions but couldn't find any. After I installed it I thought that I should have cleaned the shaft and collar with solvent and maybe used a little Loctite, has anyone else used a locking fluid?
