I recently bought a 03 Rx1 and the left hand warmer was disconnected. When I removed the handle bar padding, there was no wires for it to plug into, so I wired it into the right side. If I turn the hand warmers on high or forget to turn them down on start up, they blow the 10 amp ignition fuse within two minutes. I cannot find any wires in the harness for the left side
1. Is this how it comes from the factory? With only one set of wires.
2. Will a CDI from an 04 work on the 03 to hold the hand warmer settings?

Just a thought, did you wire them in series or Parallel? I am thinking that in series would pull less current when they are cold, but not get a hot as fast.
