Hi,
I'm considering a 03 RX1 Mountain.
I've got a SRX600, couple Vmax 600s.
I do alot of field riding and some trail riding.
I've found this sled at a good price and around 500kms on it.
I have put 1.25" tracks on all my sleds cause we often play in power when we can.
What can I expect from this sled? I've read the front suspension sucks...but not really explaining that.
Power good? Carbs ok? Rear suspension is typical proaction mountain?
Thanks,
Corey

I voted buy, because I have one, and I like it for all around driving. have you driven it yet? maybe the best idea is to wait for snow, and take it for a good ride..

buy it if the price is right and its had some updates...mine was really tippy when i got it.
The a-arms are narrower than the short track rx1's, the front springs sucked and the sway bar was too soft, links too short.
It handled like sh!t, but its fixed now.
It was faster than my 700 triple yamaha that i piped, clutched etc. except on the top end

Well guys...ya convinced me.
I bought it. Damn thing was in showroom condition...73kms on it!
No kidding about it feeling soft in the front...that's gonna get some work soon.
I've been looking for the videos for the RX1 from the yamaha site when they were introduced...anyone have these?

congrats...first thing is to upgrade the front suspension...i hated mine the first time i rode it as it would roll on its side really easy...almost thought of selling it right after getting it...glad i didn't

Hello my fellow Saskatchewanites. I'm originally from Wolseley. I was wondering what a used RX-1 is going for around there. I'm looking at jumping on the 4 stroke wagon. GO RIDERS GO!!!!

i'm from regina actually...moved to indian head a year ago. Not sure what the going price is around here. Alberta/BC is usually cheaper. Got mine from BC almost 3 yrs ago with under 100kms.
