03 rx1 popping and burble?

Hey all, got a little burble at 1/4 throttle. Ive read older posts that this is common possibly lean symptom. Also if I run do a wide open run it pops a little on decel. Note: though the previous owner did gut the exhaust. Would this cause the burble to be more audible along with light poping or do I need bigger pilot jets? Any info appreciated. Thanks

my old rx war did not do any of that even with the mbrp exhaust we had on it for a few weeks when i broke the oe but i did have the green cv springs in it already.. on my brothers with the modded exh and air box, we did have to jet and do new cv springs as his was popping.

did you check the dounuts yet? can cause that too.

X2 on exhaust leak. Get RX running and then with some shop towels or what not, push up against the two rear exhaust pipes to plug them. Sled should stall out right away. If it continues running, even if running rough, you have an exhaust leak.
