Hi guys. Does anyone know of the aftermarket shop that sells the w-arms with the reinforced brace/gusset plates for the rear suspension of an 03 RX1. Or is it easier to purchase an OEM one? I purchased the sled last year for my wife and i'm in the process of rebuilding the rear suspension and noticed the w-arm had been (re)welded already. I would like to replace it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jeff.

Hey rx1007, I took mine out and made gussets and welded it up myself, cheaper and stronger than buying a new one! Noticed you are from Broadalbin, My dad lives on lakeview rd and I ride up there all the time!!!

Lots of people re welded them from stock is it just fixed or has it been reinforced? if its reinforced then i would leave it cause you will only break a new one. They were a bad design and the only fix was to beef them up.

I agree with Mikey... I rewelded mine and laid a nice thick bead. I only have ridden her 200 miles since, but I cant imagine it wont be better than stock.

I took two pieces of angle iron and welded them to the outside and underneath of the W arm. I beat the crap out of it and its still good. Just remember to repaint
I have one I took off an 03 Rx1 when i installed the Bender Monoshock. PM me or email jjkester@alltel.net if your interested. $80 plus shipping.
