ya i'm still waiting to get a nytro windshield. I hope to get straight rate spring and a stiffer sway bar, maybe some different shocks. its just a matter of money thing, everything cost money :o|

i thought the progressive rate springs were better.

What are the advantages to progressive vs straight (single ) rate springs
and why would you choose one over the other?????

Thanks

Problem with progressive is they don't have a consistent tension throughout compression, straight rate springs on the otherhand compresses at the same rate all the way down. if i'm not mistaken 03 was the only year they had progressive. Maybe LB will chime in with a much better technical description all i know is with straight rate springs, longer links, and a thicker swaybar it really improved the handling on the first year model sleds and i truly believe Yamaha got the idea to switch in 04 from this web site.. :rocks:
