Are there any other engines that will bolt right in this machine besides the original 400. Mine split the block and is not repairable

never done it myself, but it looks like you could use any 250-400 cc engine that is not dual range in it
It's a 4x4, forgot to mention that lol. I found a 450 from an 07 kodiak but I don't think it will fit. Thanks for the reply.

if it is a single range 450, it would probably work but most of the 450 kodiak i looked at where dual range. the 05 bear pro is getting long in the tooth so always looking but hard to replace the old tank as it works so well.
This is my son's kodiak and he loves it. The thing ran flawless enough that I just put a new rear differential and tires on it so now I do have some coin invested. Definitely got to try and fix it
