I am 6'4" And 235 pounds how should I set up my stock suppension? I know nothing about this at all, Please be very descriptive on changes/ settings. Thanks for any help you can give me! I rode it last year and it bottomed out quite a few times.

shock

find yourself viper shocks for rear skid and send them to a good shock man in your area, or many on this site will do a good job, your shock now can't be serviced.

Before spending a lot of money on the skid you have, consider the cost of replacing it with another manufacturer's skid. A lot of guys have gone this route. At best, the skid you have does not compare to what's available from Poo, Cat and Doo.

There is a Cam Adjuster on the shock. Also, there is a Compression adjustment in one of the shock's yokes that bolts the shock to the suspension. Turn the Spring so that the Cam adjuster is 1 setting from the hardest setting. Try it out. If it still needs further adjustment turn the spring to the hardest setting. If it still does not prevent bottoming, tighten the Compression screw a "click" and then test ride the sled. If you are still bottoming, then tighten the compression screw a couple more times one click at a time and test it. If you are still bottoming frequently, then you may need to replace the shock. It is NOT rebuildable. If you replace the shock, then take Yamadog1's suggestion to look around for an old SRX shock and have it sent out for a rebuild. You may want to do that anyway cause and '04 shock is getting old. Tell the rebuilder your weight and what you intend to install it in. Pioneer Performance should be able to do this work for you.
