I recently purchased a 04 RX Warrior and when on rough trails with continious moguls it clunks pretty hard on the back side of the bumps when suspension is going down or letting out is this normal or what should I be looking for? Does not do this under normal to ruff trail conditions only on slow extremely rough deep moguls. This is a great site. Thanks for any help you can provide. I am also looking for supension settings for my sled I am 6'4" and 240 pounds. Thanks!

Time to pull the skid and figure out the problem. It could be a busted W-Arm. But once you get it out, you should be able to see the problem. No sense risking track damage when it stops clunking.

similar situation on my rx. was a unthreaded control rod ........ its now garage art .
Specifically what are you referring to by 'control rod'?? I rode my Warrior for the first time this year too and noticed the same thing. The only time it did it was on big moguls on lake access trails or something similar that never gets groomed. I just got home and my sled is melting off in the shop as we speak, so I haven't had a chance to look into it yet....

Can't say I'm aware of any 'normal' noise when the suspension is compressing, but when decompressing (extending ALL the way out) it IS normal to hear the suspesion 'bang'..... This happens most often when there is a sudden & quick rise in the suspension and you with hear a fairly loud bang or thud... It's a pro-action skid thing....
