04 rx1 vs warrior

Any thoughts on the handling differences? I''m concerned with the cornering in the tight twisties on the 136" track. The warrior, from everything i''ve read appears to be the way to go but gotta believe the shorty would be more nimble. The trails i ride are mostly groomed but become bumpy late in the afternoon after lots of traffic. most of the trailes in my area open up to several open fields and back into the woods again. Has anyone actually had a chance to test the 04''s?

If you are at all concerned with the cornering in the tight twisties then stay with the 121",but if you are looking for all out performance then its a no-brainer you got to go with the 136".I am going to install a mc turbo thats why I ordered a RX Warrior.

Oh ya when I come to Corner's I not very aggressive but when it strains out I always grab a BIG HAND FULL ,I bet most of the guys on this site drive the same way.Or maybe not

I mostly ride in ditches and some lakes. I figure it's got to handle better than my old sx600.

If u want it to handle like your sx600 keep the short track.

With precision skis on my shortie, I believe that the track will only help the overall package. Mine will be a 136" for next season. 8)

The shorty should handle the tight twisties better and the longer Warrior should track better in a straight line 8)

With an agressive ski, I don't feel you will loose any of the ability to throw the sled around. I live & ride in a very tight trail area, this is a concern to me the 136" will not hurt the handling of this sled IMHO 8)

I find my machine has a push with the 136" x 1.25 conversion and stock skies with woody's dual runner carbides.Rides better but does'nt steer as fast as a shorty.

1xr try a set of S-D precision skis, they work much better IMO.

I have the 121 and the popular opion is it should out haldle the 136 in a tight trail. Well that will have to be deturmined this winter. I hope to ride a Warrior and if it runs good in the twisties I will long track mine!!!!

i think that the warrior when you get the suspension setup right and all balanced out to steer correctly will be superior to the shorty. had a 144 Mtn Viper that when setup properly would handle just as good as my short track Viper. but you're going to have to put either precision skis or simmons skis on to make it work!
