'05 Mountain Skis

Anybody know when we will be able to order the '05 mountain skis from Yamaha? My '03 stock skis are about used up, and I would like to try a pair this year.

I am not sure when. Probably not untill fall or early winter. The new skis are very similare to Powder Pros so you may want to compare the price of the two.

You can order them now. They are not in stock with Yamaha yet but if you order now they will go on backorder and as soon as Yamaha gets them in you will be the first to get them. I will check and see when they are expected in with our rep.

05 skis

Yamaha accesory catalog shows them for about $100.00 per ski bottoms. Thay will use your current ski loops and wear bars. Not a bad buy that way.

I was glancing at the 05 catalog and I dont remember the numbers for the skis , bu they were in there in the accesory pages, I can get them if you want! 8)

Here's a link to Yamaha's web page with the ski's, part number and retail price. They come in red, blue, or black. They use the stock Yamaha ski handle and carbide style. The ski's are not yet in stock with Yamaha but should arrive sometime this fall.

Bob - Those skis are listed for 03 and 05 RX-1s because they are being sold as an accessory to fit any sled that used that type of ski. That type of ski was introduced in 2001 and has been used on the majority of sleds built since then. The new mountain ski will come stock on any 2005 Yamaha mountain sled.

How will this ski work on my Warrior.I know it will float better in the powder but what about on a groomed trail.
