Great site - first post. Thinking about getting back into sledding after selling my '98 SRX 700 a couple of years ago. Narrowed down the search in a HURRY to decide on the '05 RX1-ER (based a lot on other threads I've read on this site).
The only sleds I've bought new in the past have been spring snow-check sleds and always felt that was the best deal going.
That being said - I didn't snow check one and I'm in Michigan.
The prices I'm getting are around $8900-$9200 out the door including the $150 cash-back allowance if you skip on the $300 in accessories. That price includes MI 6% sales tax, registration, setup etc.,
Is this close to the snowcheck deals some of you got last spring - don't depress me - just kidding - I can take it - thanks.

Highlands Yamaha, the midwest price leader, the dealer that others hate is at $8199. This includes freight/prep but not taxes. If you can find within $200 of this you are doing good.

They were as I remember $200 cheaper than the above at snow check and you got the $800 in goodies

Not too far off, they should throw in a cover with it and a belt. If you can get them to do that for 8900.00 out the door then you right were I was for my snowcheck.

I bought mine from Drifter (Tim Engle) on snowmobilenews.com trasher boards. He is in St. Cloud MN and gave it to me for $8400 plus I got the $400 in accessories. It would have been $200 more had he not known me and a friend of mine bought one at the same time. Plus tax/freight and all it was $9100 - then I got the $400 in accessories.
