I was amazed to see that dealers are already discounting $2,000 and selling RX1 e/r for $11,500 which is almost cost. With the losses they are taking on the non-current this does not look like a very good year for Yamaha dealers in Canada.

I am really surprise because here in Quebec they are selling the 05 easily. There is already shortage for some models (RX & RS Venture red models). Are you sure that they are 2005 models?

I DON'T THINK THATS AN 05 PRICE. WERE ARE YOU SEEING THAT PRICE?

My dealer here in the Ottawa area has sold out and is trying to find more....

I'm surprized dealers would sell for $11,500 now, especially with the apparent shortage on them.

Back in the spring, when I placed the order for mine I found quite a few dealers willing to sell the 05 RX-1 ER for 11,500. That was the bottom line price most dealers were willing to let them go for.

Having said that, these were all dealers a decent drive away that new I wouldn't be bringing the sled in for maintenance and also the dealer kept all of the Yamabucks, trail pass incentive, etc.

I ended up paying more and buying locally.

SOB, LB, we have one of the longest riding seasons as we are at 1800 feet. By the way what major metropolis do you live in? I live here as I chose to to stay away from idiots like you.

Hully Gully caused the problem at the show offering for $11,400 and other dealers now matching on 05 RX1e/r. If you were stuck with eight 04 RX1's I think you would panic a little also and match pricing. They are also selling new 04 for $8,500.

Unless there are more than one Hornings Mills, looks to me to be stuffed right in the middle of the second last part of Ontario that ever gets any snow. Southwest of Barrie?

Do yourself a favour and refrain from calling names, makes you look bad.

Stop making stupid statements IT CONFIRMS everyones opinion of you.

As far as snow we have rideable snow normally a month before Muskoka. Suggest you leave your little enclave and come to the Dundalk, Feversham and Singhampton area to see for yourself.

Listen idiot I am a semi-retired ex President of a major corporation still drawing $275K per year. The only reson I bring this up is your stipid post. I guess Don Cherry, Dini Petty, Dale Howerchuck and several others live in shantys also.

Guys come on now...we're all freinds here. No need for that. Settle your differences offline or better yet in person over a few beers.

Hey man I didn't do a thing, started a post with worthwhile information than this idiot comes out attacking me, my 150' shanty, financial condition and bumpkin friends.

Guess he is off his meds, should take a test before he is allowed on.
