I have an 05 Vector that developed a leak in the cooling system. I fixed the leak and now need some guidance about how to properly bleed the air from the system. I found a maintenance manual on-line for a 2010 Vector and tried following the procedure it outlined, i.e raise the rear of the machine, remove the plug from the rear radiator, slowly fill the reservoir up front then start the engine and run it at idle for about 5 minutes to force air out of the plug hole in the radiator.
After several minutes the engine and the thermostat housing felt hotter than I was comfortable with and there was no flow or bubbling from the radiator opening so I shut it down. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the response. Followed the steps as outlined and it worked like a champ.
