Looking for info on replacing the drive bearings on both sides. Have found plenty of info for the jackshaft bearing replacement but not the drive shaft bearings? Do I have to pull the drive shaft out or can I just replace the bearing while it is in place? Do I have to pull the track? I am an intermediate backyard mechanic but wondering if I should tackle his job or not????
Any info would be appreciated..

You can do both without removing the track, but you have to pull the chaincase cover of course.

Remove the chain case and then there is another access by the right floor board for getting to that bearing. I was able to find pictures and instructions on here for the whole job, just search. Remember there are set screws in the shaft for getting the bearings off so it doesn't take much force.
