Ok so I have an 06 Apex GT non turbo. I have about 42 psi fuel pressure through my fuel line at idle and at full throttle. The thing is, I put this motor in my polaris rzr and the motor is bone stock with new cr10ek plugs. When I first got it running I went to take it for a spin and it had absolutely no power. I bought a pc5 with auto tuner and it was trying to take away up to 65% of fuel just to compensate and make it run somewhat normal (around 13:1 afr). So the thing is running ridiculously rich for some reason. The only code im throwing is 42 which is grip warmers or something. Any ideas?

With my pc5 auto tuner on and taking away that much fuel, it will run pretty good if you lay into the throttle slowly up to about 70% throttle or WOT and then it will start misfiring and gagging itself. It will misfire and gag if you give it too much throttle too quick also (like from a dead stop). I just had the air filters off to see what it would do and if I punch the throttle, it looks like fuel is misting out of the throttle bodies while it gags and misfires. Is it a spark issue? Please help. Or atleast get me going in the right direction. Thanks! I dont know much about these motors and they're sensors. Im in Arkansas in the south with 30 degree temps right now.

Everybody else who has done this swap in the southern states are running bone stock engines with no programmers and have my same clutch setup. They're engines run great.

hmm. I would ohm check the coolant sensor as it sounds like it might be the problem. might be thinking it is colder than it is.

hopefully someone else will chime in as I am not an expert on this.

also could you put your location in your profile as per site rules. thank you.

I didnt check the temp sensor with a voltmeter, but i did unplug it and the rpm's kind of went up and the red light on my gauge came on. So I figured the temp sensor is fine. Any other ideas? Thanks for helping me out

Another thing to keep in mind.. it starts right up every time and doesnt burn oil or coolant. Would a bad ground cause this much?

update: I just checked my tps and its showing 5.03 volts at any position of throttle with key on and engine off. Think this would cause all my problems? Ive checked nearly everything and cleaned my fuel rail and injectors and no vacuum leaks and double checked my grounds.
