'06 Apex GT...want more top end

I agree that a rolling start is best but most people know that these sleds keep pulling long after a 2-stroke max's out. I lose so much out of the hole it is crazy but I can usually make it up due to NOS but not in a 660' run. I always try to remember that this is a trail/touring sled first but if I could get the hook-up of my ZR with the power of the Apex I would consider it the best of both worlds. It makes me wonder if the A/C skid would work somehow in this sled?

Now you are talking.

If you think about it the way the Japanese do, why would you want the skis in the air? To the majority of the people who ride snowmobiles they want their ski's on the ground. They want to be able to steer around the corners. Yamaha builds there sleds to perform properly. If you think about it....dangling the skis is cool in the parking lot and gas stations but when I see those guys on the Firecats coming out of the corners with the skis in the air right out of controll I'm not envious. I agree it is a benifit to be able to trasfer when we're drag racing, but we have to remember we're the minority when it comes to snowmobilers.
