guys, after a few thousand miles my ApexGT I feel it is too soft in the front end and I push through the soft corners.. All I have done it level out the a arms like I did to my RX1 to avoid the tippy. Should I raise these back a and get a stiffer front shock?? I just need some more bite and figured the limiterstrap is another option. your thoughts?

Dont you have the gyt shocks on? If so preload them up some,if you already did that they may need to be rebuilt,i would send them to carver performance and have them revalved, plus do the rear while you are at it,later this summer when you are done for the season.dexter said:guys, after a few thousand miles my ApexGT I feel it is too soft in the front end and I push through the soft corners.. The upper ckicker knob is for the compression,so you can make it stiffer or softer, and the bottom knob is rebound, now these were all greek to me just a few weeks ago,and folks on here helped me understand the rebound a little more,i knew what the compression clicker did,but was unsure about the rebound adjustments,Now if you dont fully understand there adjustments, they are outlined in the owners manual, but it is not the best way to understand them,so here goes, the top compression is harder or more firm when it is turned completely in clockwise,i think it is 12 clicks closed and 12 clicks fully open which is full soft,so try closing it completly and if it is to much, just start backing it out one click to a time, now the bottom rebound is best turned almost all the way closed, again clockwise fully closed is very little rebound,if you open up the rebound clicker you will feel it push right thru its stroke, and it will feel mushy, same thing for the rebound clicker adjuster on the mono ohlins underneith the skid, only that one has 33 clicks, and keep that one up preety tight or closed or you will feel it bouncy thru the bumps,i would still have a revalve done during the summer months and you will really love this sled. Good luck.dexter said:I do have the gytr's, but what knob does what? help!

How were the trails in buxton this year, our trails here in waterboro were very rough,as the club volunteers were on the slim side plus they let it get to rough to soon and than rain came,we even had all three doos pulling mogulmasters and it was still crap, man i wish they had not sold the tracktruk scot and i worked so hard to get,but its gone now so we deal with what we have, its always timing about grooming anyways, hey maybe we should hook up sometime sense we are so close, you proberly remember well and sons on rt 112,that is my farther in law.dexter said:thanks snowbeast.. this helps. to tell you the truth I didnt hit the town trails at all this year. I leave my sleds at our camp in dexter. I used to ride them, but when I bought a newer sled I just gave up with the small trails. I am spoiled with the rail bed trails up there and being so close to the forks, greenville etc. Yes, I remember wills and sons.. Peter is your father in law? My father in law was a state trooper and was friends with Peter. I also met Katie his daughter on a rafting trip a few years back.. small world! you looking to ride again this year?

sebec is nice area... we are lucky to be on Wassookeag Lake in dexter. You have gone right by for sure if you have ridden the bed. yeah, that bed is nasty at times. Have fun in the county.. my dad is up there and they are having an issue with slides and heating as the trails are all ice chunked up... they had rain/sleet last week.
