My buddies 2006 Nytro develops a miss about 40 to 50 miles into the ride. He took it to the dealer who cleaned the carbs, but next time out same thing happens. This is beginning to get him down as he has had to cut four rides short. If it cools down for a period of time it will run ok for another several miles. Let it set over night and will run another 40 miles or so. My thought is a coil or CD box, what do you guys think??

If you had another vector on hand you could change the coils one at a time to see if that is the cause.There was a few problems with stators on these sleds but that would cause the sled to die on the spot,no chance of it starting again.I may be wrong.

did he change the plugs and use dieelectric grease to put the coils back in?
i know my warrior misses if i run it too long at low speeds, take it for a tear and it cleans right out.

I don't know if this is it but I had a old skidoo that the cdi box would screw up when the sled got warm. Only happened on warm spring days.
