stock clutching in my 06 nytro i have a excell header pipe and r6 bike exhaust on it and its running 9000 rpms. i seem to have no top end hardly peeked 85 on the speedo where two weeks ago i hit 101, where should i start looking or what changes need to be done on the clutches???? HELP

Did you try a new drive belt? Maybe it's slipping too much. I scuff the sides of my drive belt, and clean and scuff the faces of both clutches. Mine grips like crazy.

Also snow conditions could keep the speed down some.

You are over reving and losing hp.The motor is making more hp with the pipe but to the track your making less.Add a heavier rivet to the tip to bring the rpms down to 8600.

Put the belt from the viper on it - it's broke in but new and I just cleaned it before I put it back on the sled this fall. Then we'll start tuning after that. Weight in the tip is what the women from the heelclickers booth said too.
