Does any one know if the 06 RS Venture still has track noise or is it gone .

I have an 06 RS Venture that I spring ordered.
I was told by the Yamaha rep and my dealer
at the spring show in Portland Maine the track noise
was fixed for 06.
The noise is painfull and makes long rides uncomfortable.
The dealer says Yamaha has no fix, guess I made a
9000 dollar mistake.
Other than this problem and bogy wheels self distructing its a good snowmobile.
I would not buy another.

I have 600 miles on my 06 Rage. Wheels are still intact but it does make noise. I rode a 06 Apex Mountain for 2 days no noise at all and it rides a hell of a lot better. Before I bought this sled they said the Mono Shock rides like a M10. Where is my old sled!

Well I guess I won't go over to the dealer and look at the suspension on the O6. I have to tell you I have a buddy with the 06 T660 and that is unbelievably quiet .It is also easyer to steer than mine .Those are the only things I like about it .
What about the new phazer touring edition Wilson or it might not have enough power for your liking. I also noticed as did Carol the 05 track noise has improved considerably now that we have some miles on it. Dont ask what changed other than the some fax wear it is the same as last year and it howled. Maybe we werent going fast enough last year?

Phaser is to small .And you are right it doesn't have enough power .The
Rs doesn't have enough either .There is never enough
