How much pre load you guys using on a 06 apex GT Ohlins shock!! Wifes was about 2.75 inches. Seems like a bit to much??

Depends. How much does she weigh? Is it too soft for her. Stock 4.9 spring? If your looking for max preload with stock spring, Its around 10.25 inches length with skid at full height.
