07 apex Sat Since last winter. Just installed new starter motor and changed oil and filter. Go to start it fuel pump relay just clicks.
Pulled off fuel line at the rail and coincidently fuel pump started working. Worked every time In the garage. Load it in truck. Get to destination. Fuel pump relay just clicks
I changed relay and no difference. Any ideas please. Thanks. I'm about ready to go back to my SRX s. never had a missed day riding on them

Something to look at.Check for corrosion where it plugs in.clean with electrical cleaner with small brush and add dielectric grease.worth a shot.also check relay near battery they get corroded as well

it's super clean at the relay on the left side. I didn't know there was one by the battery. I'll check tomorrow. Maybe I bumped something taking battery out and in when I replaced the starter? Thanks. Short of replacing fuel pump is there a way to narrow this down to relay, connection, or pump?

Replaced with new relay? Red one? Check for voltage at the pump.

Fixed it. It was the wire plug connections to the right side of battery. They were corroded. Thanks all

yes these connections get corroded. the green fuse can get green inside ,you can see it when you look thru the window.pop clear cap off and remove white piece and clean the green.dielectric grease ,install and add some to the top before putting on clear cap.
