I am looking to make some minor tweaks to my Apex to enhance the performance. I have read many of the threads / articles on this forum and would appreciate your opinions.

The changes I am considering include Air Box mod, Power Commander and clutching. Is this the correct order? Do I need to do the Power Commander or is the Air box sufficient? If Power Commander, what additional performance / efficiency gains might be realized? I don't care about fuel economy but my sled does seem to run rich and wouldn't mind leaning that up some.

I appreciate you sharing with me what you have learned!

If you are running rich the air box mod will help lean it some. With just the air mod you won't need a pc.

Maybe start with gutted airbox and then add a clutch kit and tune it. You'll see good accelleration gains, especially from good clutching. Then if your running lean at all, you can always add a fuel programmer, like a power commander later.
