my machine has started to idle rough when starting. sled has 15,000 kms on it with the original spark plugs. I hope changing the plugs will solve the problem. did the exhaust donut check with wet rags, sled dies within three seconds, donuts have been changed once already. anything else that needs to be checked. read a post about a filter on the fuel pump that may have to be cleaned. any positive feedback welcome. sled seems to run fine after running it down the trails a couple kms. no power loss and does not stall when on the trail.

plugs are a good 1st thing if you have that many km on them. I only ever managed to get 7000km on my war to a set of plugs before I fouled them but I do run my sleds up to temp in the off season.

There is a multi-page thread on here where all of these things were tried. You can hit it up for things to look for from plugs, IAC etc. Most of us with moderate mileage Apex' ended up getting into the idle settings in the EFI and adjusting it. It was a bit un-nerving, but it seemed to do the trick. It also solved the issue with the sled stalling when coming into a stop to idle.
All 9 pages of good info! Happy reading!
