Hey guys. I have a 2007 apex rtx with full mbrp exhaust with headers, ram air lid power commander with ignition module with a 91 ulmer tune and ulmer clutching. Just got the sled in the spring and have done the mods over the summer. Guy told me it ran 114 gps last winter stock what should I expect to see this winter ? Also my buddy just picked up a 2010 nytro with a 180 mpi super charger running 4 or 5 pounds boost what do you guys think the out come of that race will be ???

Having been down the same road with my Apex, I found that all the mods you listed do not give as much horsepower increase as we'd like to think. The exhaust is worth 1-2 hp at most. The ramair lid maybe 1-2 as well. I also had the pc3 with ignition box from the same company you mention. In my case, I was able to find improvement by optimizing (via dyno time) to my particular setup and riding style, and octane of gas used. I also optimized the clutch setup as well.
When all is said and done, with optimal tune, you "might" be in the low to mid 150ish range. Probably not what you wanted to hear but, the good news is that it will "feel" faster than a mere 2-4 hp increase.
Taking on a 180+ hp Nytro, even with a great setup, may be asking a bit much. Just hope that the Nytro isn't setup as well.

Never did radar it. However, with your mods and a good setup and good fast conditions, you should see 130 mph on the dreameter. That works out to about 117 mph actual.
With all that I have done NOW as compared to when I saw 130mph, I expect to see 135+ mph. Should find out later this season.

Nytro's were geared low for fun on the bumps so, all factors reasonably equal, they were usually as quick if not quicker to 80 or 90.
Then the Apex would over run it.
If he didn't re-gear it you'll still take him on top, but most likely he's geared & will kick you AZZ from bottom to top.

I had a nytro with the 170hp supercharger for a couple years. Never found the nytro to be a good top speed sled, I think the Apex was better in the aerodynamics department.Hey guys. You may want to consider an A/F guage. The Apex like to be in the 12.5-12.8 range.

My Attak has Excell headers, Stock exhaust, Air Box mod, PC5, Ignition Module, Auto Tune, Pod 300 ect. I run the AFR @ 12.5 - 12.8.
With a RipSaw 2 track and running on a hard pack trail, I typically get anywhere from 105 - 114 mph on the GPS, depending on temp and snow conditions. The Nytro XTXs I run with pretty well max out @ 102mph and the 850 Renegades top out @ 105 - 110 mph.
I removed 2 teeth from my speedo gear so my speedo now just slightly under indicates. For mph closing in on 120mph I have found my Apex needs to be run on ice. I have tried numerous aftermarket exhaust and none are significantly faster...only lighter and louder!

Nice mods! You know what you're doing. I always thought if I had an Apex, a slightly more agressive intake cam may help?My Attak has Excell headers, Stock exhaust, Air Box mod, PC5, Ignition Module, Auto Tune, Pod 300 ect. I run the AFR @ 12.5 - 12.8.
