07 Attak GT temp light has come on several times in the last 250 miles. Engine is not overheating. Wiring checks out no shorts. Anyone with ideas or info please advise. I posted under electrical but that section seems not to be read much. Thanks for any help. Had similiar problem with 05 Warrior and fix replaced ECU.

- None, looking now!
My 06 rtx did that during the first few miles. It cleared out though. I have the same sled as you. I haven't riden it yet as it sits in the trailer waiting to head north tomorrow for a week, hope I don't have any issues.

Check you're coolant concentration. Most of them are shipped with straight glycol. Drain about 40% out and replace with distilled water.

My temp light comes on often too. I will install a temp gauge soon. I got a temp gauge kit from Excell .

Drain out 2 litres and replace with distilled water, it will fix your overheating problem to a certain point in marginal snow conditions...

I had the overheating problem caused by 100% antifreeze on 06. Please read my post. 07 SLED IS NOT OVERHEATING.

Make sure there isn't air in the system.

Studdog,
How many miles on your GT? I'm at about 900 now and I haven't had a problem. Be sure to let me know what you find, eh?

4Fighter, We have a hypothesis about the cause from the dealer mechanic team. In real cold conditions like I was running with deep snow on trail ice builds up around and in front of coolant pipe at rear of skid. This buildup prevents cooling snow to get to pipe. This created temporary heat buildup. When Ice hunk breaksfree proper cooling resumes. Problem occurred 3 times in 250 miles of severe cold running. Darned if I know? May never happen again.
